The New Brewery Arts Map
Friday 25th January
We have been involved for a while now with helping out the Brewery Arts Centre in Cirencester with developing a map to guide people around the layout of the newly renovated building - something they have never had. It has been a really interesting project, dealing with conveying information clearly.
It takes two forms: one isometric-view display map to go at A0 size on the walls and a plan-view map at A4 to be handed out and carried around. We did out the work for no fee as it is an organisation that benefits the community. Click the image on the right to see the downloadable pdf map, or take a visit to The New Brewery Arts online.
Watch us on Youtube
Friday 18th January 2008
Just this morning we've set up our own Youtube Channel, where you can watch any random video creations we may happen to make from our HQ in Swindon (we see it as the position of the graphic designer to do this kind of thing in a company).
Currently there is just one: quite a homemade affair, it shows what life would be like moving around an office on powerisers. Go to our new channel to find out what that means. Please feel free to laugh.
RRH Ltd Safety Handbooks
Tuesday 8th January 2008
We have just completed a brand new health and safety handbook design for RRH Ltd, which involved taking the two employee handbooks they previously had and combining them into one.
The typographic challenge was to lay out the information in a clear and consistent manner for quick access. The bright eye-catching cover is based on a warning sign to make them harder to lose and they were laminated and wire bound for day-to-day durability.
New year, new website
Thursday 3rd January 2008
To welcome in 2008 at PFA Graphics we have created this new website that you see in front of you. It was time to move on from our one-page offering and now with more work under our belt we are able to show off a bit more.
We've got a new look and identity with the PFA Tower emitting our logo rings, as if spreading and communicating messages, representing what we do as graphic designers. We'll be updating our website regularly and we're looking forward to being able to work with new clients this year.
